Ezequiel Aleman
Researcher, designer, and teacher pursuing equity and freedom. I strive for the design and research of equitable and transformative educational experiences for all learners. Through innovative design, I aim to break down barriers and create empowering learning environments that promote diversity, community thriving, and social change.
My research and teaching focus on the intersections of play, speculative civic literacies, youth participatory action research, and community-based knowledge seeking to center youth voices in understanding, critiquing and engaging in civic participation and developing teachers' understandings of place-based approaches to education.
